Romeo and Juliet

A Revelry Theatre Group production

English actor and director Harley Granville-Barker once described Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet as "a tragedy  of youth as youth sees it." In the Grunge era of the early 1990s, disillusionment, angst, and a longing for authenticity were palpable. This telling of the classic tale emphasizes youth as youth saw itself within a certain age. We invite you to come alongside these characters, hoping fiercely and longing passionately in spite of all else. Thank you for coming to see our play.
